The Book Club
One of the most pleasant surprises I have had since sharing more of my interests on social media is how many of you love books as much as I do. So, I have finally built up the courage to create an opportunity for us to yap about books together in real life.
The Book Club will be about more than just books. It will be blending many of my favourite things: reading, chatting, exploring Helsinki, meeting new people, having a laugh, and delicious food. It will be a way to see different parts of the city, support local businesses, and connect with new people without the awkward small talk (books are a great way to bypass BS). I hope that it will also be a way for Finns and foreigners to connect over books set in different parts of the world.

The Book Club will be discussing When the Coffee Gets Cold at La Torrefazione Lasipalatsi on 24.3.

The Book Club April will be discussing Myhtos by Stephen Fry at Uusi sauna for a greek feast, discussion and sauna.

The Book Club February will be talking about Creation Lake Arkadia Book Store.
The Book Club @ Artek: Intermezzo by Sally Rooney
The Book Club is for both Finns and foreigners who want to meet new people and discuss books. The events take place in different locations around the city and are held in english.
