Book Club Terms and Conditions

By purchasing a ticket to attend the book club event, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your booking.
1. Nature of the Event
This is a ticketed, in-person book club gathering that includes:
Participation in group discussion
Light snacks (this might vary per event)
A welcoming and inclusive space to connect with others
Please note: Books are not provided. Participants are expected to have read (or be familiar with) the selected book prior to the event.
2. Ticket Purchase and Confirmation
All tickets must be purchased in advance via the designated ticketing platform. Your spot is only confirmed once full payment is received and you receive a confirmation email.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation more than 48 hours before the event: Eligible for a 50% refund.
Cancellation within 24 hours of the event or no-show: No refund.
Refunds will be processed via the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

4. Event Changes and Cancellations by Organizer
We reserve the right to:
Reschedule or cancel an event due to low attendance, illness, or unforeseen circumstances.
Change the venue, date, or time with reasonable notice.
In such cases, you will be offered either a full refund or the option to transfer your ticket to a future event.
5. Dietary and Allergy Notice
Snacks and drinks may contain common allergens such as nuts, dairy, or gluten. While we do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions, we cannot guarantee allergen-free food or beverages. Please consume at your own risk.
6. Code of Conduct
We are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants. By attending, you agree to:
Engage respectfully in discussion
Allow space for diverse opinions and experiences
Refrain from disruptive or inappropriate behavior
The organizer reserves the right to remove anyone from the event without refund for violating this code.
7. Photography and Media
Photos or short video clips may be taken during the event for promotional use on social media or websites. By attending, you consent to being photographed unless you notify the organizer in advance.
8. Limitation of Liability
The organizer shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, illness, or damage incurred during or as a result of attending the event, including any adverse reaction to food or drink provided.
